Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using CredimusAi's educational assessment platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.
Description of Services
CredimusAi provides an AI-powered assessment platform designed to help educators with exam marking, analysis, and workload management. Our services include:
- Automated assessment marking and feedback
- Performance analytics and insights
- Curriculum alignment tools
- Report generation capabilities
User Accounts
When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the services for any unlawful purpose
- Share account credentials with unauthorised parties
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
- Upload malicious content or software
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the platform
Intellectual Property
The CredimusAi platform, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by CredimusAi and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you upload to the platform.
Subscription and Payment
Access to CredimusAi services requires a valid subscription. Subscription terms, pricing, and payment schedules are detailed in your service agreement. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CredimusAi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage resulting from your use of or inability to use our services. Where CredimusAi's liability does arise, our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or £1,000.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by CredimusAi's negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (c) any matter for which it would be unlawful to exclude liability, including under the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 (UCTA 1977) and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (CRA 2015) where applicable.
Termination and Data Return
Either party may terminate these Terms on 30 days' written notice. On termination, CredimusAi will provide you with an export of your data in a machine-readable format within 30 days of the termination date, and will securely delete your data within 90 days thereafter, subject to any legal retention obligations. Any outstanding fees remain payable on termination.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the platform.
Data Protection
CredimusAi acts as data controller for personal data collected through account registration, waitlist sign-ups, and direct communications. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Student data — processor role (UK GDPR Art 28): Where schools upload student examination scripts or other student data to the platform, the school or trust is the data controller for that data and CredimusAi acts as data processor. A written Data Processing Agreement (DPA) in compliance with UK GDPR Art 28 must be in place before any student data is uploaded. Schools are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate authority and lawful basis under UK GDPR and applicable safeguarding obligations (including KCSIE) to share student data with CredimusAi.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
